How It Works

From your URL to a
topical authority map.

Most keyword tools ask you for a seed keyword. This one asks for your URL and figures out the rest. It scans your website, identifies the broad topics you have the right to own, then expands each one into a cluster of real, rankable keywords.

What is topical authority?

Topical authority is the depth of coverage your site has on a subject. Google ranks domains that comprehensively cover a topic, not domains that wrote one good article and called it done.

A topical authority map breaks a website into 4 to 6 broad cornerstone topics. Each cornerstone is the head of a cluster: 5 to 15 articles that go narrow on a single subject. Build the cluster, link the articles to the cornerstone, and the whole topic ranks.

What happens when you enter your URL

Website scan

We fetch your homepage and a handful of core pages. The text is parsed and reduced to atomic facts about what you do, who you serve, and what makes your offering distinct.

Cornerstone extraction

AI groups those facts into 4 broad category-level topics, the pillars your site has the right to own. Not narrow article ideas. Not generic head terms.

Cluster expansion

For each cornerstone, AI discovers sub-topics that real people search for. Each candidate is checked against live Google search data: real volume, real difficulty.

Map render

Cornerstones become bubbles around your domain. Cluster keywords sit underneath. Click any cornerstone to focus its cluster.

Why is this better than a spreadsheet?

Most teams build their content plan in a spreadsheet. They throw 200 keywords into a column, sort by volume, and pick the top 20. The result is a list of disconnected articles with no cluster structure. No internal linking strategy. No topical authority.

The map approach is structural. Every keyword belongs to a cornerstone. Every cornerstone connects back to your domain. When you write the cluster, the internal linking is obvious. The topic compounds. That is how small sites outrank big ones on focused topics.

What to do with your map

Pick one cornerstone. Pick the lowest-difficulty cluster keyword underneath it. Write that article first. Internal-link it back to the cornerstone (which can become a pillar page later). Repeat.

Or use the "Save and start writing" button below to import the map into Ubenie and have full SEO articles drafted for any cluster keyword in 30 minutes.

FAQ

Common questions.

01

What is a topical authority map?

[+]

A topical authority map is a visual breakdown of the topics a website should rank for. It groups related keywords into clusters, with each cluster anchored to a broad cornerstone topic. The map is the foundation of any cluster-based SEO strategy.

02

How does this tool generate the map?

[+]

It scrapes your website, extracts the facts about what you do, then asks AI to identify 4 broad pillars you have the right to own. For each pillar it discovers cluster keywords using AI grounded in real Google data, then validates every keyword against DataForSEO so the volume and difficulty numbers you see are real.

03

Is this really free?

[+]

Yes. You can generate 2 maps per IP per day with no signup. The full result is shown including real volume and KD numbers. There is no email gate and no blurred output.

04

How do I build topical authority from this map?

[+]

Pick one cornerstone. Write 5 to 15 articles inside its cluster, each targeting one cluster keyword. Internal-link them to a pillar page that targets the cornerstone keyword itself. Then repeat for the next cornerstone. Topical authority is depth on one subject, multiplied across pillars.

05

Why do I only see 4 cornerstones?

[+]

Most websites have a small number of true pillars they can credibly own. Showing 20 narrow subtopics is a spreadsheet, not a strategy. Four cornerstones gives you a clear next-90-days plan: one cluster per quarter or one per month if you publish weekly.

06

Where does the search data come from?

[+]

DataForSEO live keyword data. Same source many professional SEO platforms use. Volume and keyword difficulty (0 to 100) are pulled in real time when the map is generated.

07

Can I edit the map?

[+]

The free tool shows a static map. To edit cornerstones, swap cluster keywords, or generate full SEO articles for the keywords you pick, click Save and start writing to import the map into the Ubenie app.

08

Does this work for new websites with low domain authority?

[+]

Yes. The expansion step is biased toward low-difficulty keywords because that is what new sites can rank for. The map will show you which clusters have the lowest barrier so you can start there.
